Observation list for

Dalton primary schools

This observation list can be used by teachers as a checklist for the Dalton development in their own group.

In some schools this observation list is used by teachers to observe each others classes.

This list can be used by students to observe the Dalton structure and to compare it with other educational concepts.

It is also a model for self evaluation during the period of implementation of the Dalton structure.

This observation list is in a direct line with the ‘checklist Dalton identity’ , used by the Dalton visitation committee.

This observation list is meant as an expedient  to check the Dalton organization. The pedagogical background and teaching methods has to be applied on the level of school design.
