International group participated in Dutch dalton conference
An international group of teachers
was in The Netherlands from 18 - 22 April 2004
to
visit some Dalton schools and to participate in the Dutch Dalton Conference.
Teachers from Czech Republic, Norway,
Northern Ireland, Austria and Slovakia
started on Monday 19 April to observe the Dalton
education in Dalton school 'de Twijn'
and Dalton school 'Rijnsweerd' in Utrecht

On Tuesday 20 April the group was guest of "Brederode
Dalton school' in Santpoort-Zuid.
Of course they used the opportunity to
visit the tulip fields and the famous 'Keukenhof'
The Dutch Dalton Association organizes
a Dalton conference
every two years. This year in cooperation with Dalton International.
More than
350 participants took part and some of the workshops were given by foreign
educators.
