Hello,
My name is Jonathan Ehrlich, and I am a senior at The Dalton
School in New York City, and Editor-in-Chief of The Daltonian, the
newspaper of record of our school. In an effort to increase the
representative writership of Dalton students worldwide, and to spread
the concept of a free press to countries that currently experience a
lack thereof, I am interested in reaching out to Dalton students across
the globe to write about their experience as Dalton students. These
pieces would be published in The Daltonian, and copies of the newspaper
would be sent to the students' respective countries. Any help that you
feel you can provide in this initiative would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Ehrlich
The Daltonian

FAREWELL MRS WILLIAMS
After 16 years of dedicated service to Ascham School, Mrs
Williams will retire at the end of 2008 and all the girls who
have been in her care over the past nine years fare welled her
at a special assembly on Wednesday. Mrs Williams has been an
inspiration to well over 1000 girls during her time at Ascham
and they wanted to express their love and appreciation by
singing, playing music for her and reciting some poems which
were inspired by her.
The special assembly was attended by Carolyn’s family and we are
glad that they were there to see how much she is loved and
admired by the girls and her colleagues.
At its conclusion Mrs Williams was given a book containing fond memories of every current Fiona student and a bromeliad to add to her collection.
